"The Discovery table is characterized by a sinuous leg covered in leather" (manufacturer's own copy). The pedestal silhouette curves continuously from base to top — the surface that meets the eye is leather, not metal.
The leg is built on a rigid-polyurethane structural core, mounted on a steel base. The polyurethane gives the curved shoulder its monolithic feel; the steel disc keeps the table planted under a heavy stone top.
A metal ring wraps the leg's lower waist, set with the Medusa logo. Both elements are offered in polished Gold or polished chrome — pick the metallic register to coordinate with the dining-room hardware.
The table top is offered in two families: lacquered wood (named finishes include white high gloss and matt red — the manufacturer notes "a wide range of lacquered colours") or marble (Marquinia black and Super white evidenced in the brand's packshot palette).

Versace's Milan headquarters at Piazza Luigi Einaudi 4 holds LEED Gold certification, and the Bal Harbour Shops boutique (Florida) is also certified to LEED Gold for interior design and construction (USGBC project record certified 18 December 2019).
All paper-based packaging components used by Versace are sourced from Forest Stewardship Council–certified suppliers. This certification covers packaging only; it does not extend to furniture wood.

The LLG editorial dated 20 April 2023 names the table among the new pieces "designed under the creative direction of Donatella Versace by contemporary architects Roberto Palomba and Ludovica Serafini".
Two round diameters only: Ø 160 × 74 H cm and Ø 180 × 74 H cm. There is no published rectangular variant. Both seat 6–8 depending on chair geometry.

They share a name and a 2023 collection origin, but they are different SKUs. The table is a round dining piece on a single sinuous leather leg, with marble or lacquered tops. The sofa is a separate seating piece in the same collection — different geometry, different spec sheet.
