Oblique is the name of the chest of drawers that DRAW Studio designed for Ceccotti Collezioni in 2020. The reason for the name lies in the slight inclination of the fronts and the drawers: a construction choice indicative of an experimental design aimed both at dematerialising the handle and integrating it in the frames, and aligning the front of the piece of furniture with the edge. Design and compactness go hand-in-hand in Oblique. The drawer can be made more functional with an internal...

Bernois

Bonaldo

At Bernois, the design of a modern buffet, built on voluminous and formal simplicity, is complemented by the sophistication of small stylistic variations. This creation by designer Roberto Paoli is based on the illusion of perception caused by the light relief of the facades: a series of vertical "folds" creates an iridescent play of chiaroscuro. Thus, the image of this interior item changes depending on the lighting and the viewing point of the observer in accordance with the aesthetic...

Bonaldo Blush

Bonaldo

The Blush buffet, whose laconic form is emphasized by the design of the base with legs made of two thin panels, impresses with the style of its facade, intersected by slightly embossed lines that create a feeling of "vibrating" movement. The straight and curved lines of the abstract decor, alternating in a changing rhythm, repeat and emphasize the natural texture of the wood, enhancing its chromatic nuances and the intensity of chiaroscuro. The "illusion" of perception contained in the name of...
