XPL
Boffi XPL is designed by Piero Lissoni. It stems from the idea of reducing the project to its essence: a pure, rigorous volume, almost floating in space. The island becomes a small domestic architecture, with a continuous surface in which details become the essence of the project.
Its defining feature is the 90 mm chamfered side panel with a 32 mm radius outer edge. XPL is available in a floor-panel version and in a suspended version at plinth height. It represents the evolution of the Xila kitchen system, originally created in 1972 by Luigi Massoni, and is based on reduction of form, control of proportions, and construction detail as a distinctive element.
