company history

Versace, an extension of the iconic Versace fashion empire, has seamlessly translated the brand’s bold, flamboyant style into the realm of interior design. Founded by the legendary Gianni Versace in 1978, the brand swiftly revolutionized the fashion industry with its audacious prints, vibrant colors, and luxurious aesthetics, becoming a symbol of opulence and glamour.

The region of Calabria, where Giani Versace was born, belonged to the Greeks from the 8th to the 3rd century BC and is rich in artifacts of ancient Greek culture. Gianni Versace was inspired by Greek and Roman culture. As a child in his native Calabria, he saw a wall drawing of the Rondanini jellyfish. It struck him with its beauty and later became the logo of the fashion house.
