THE EMERALD HILLS PROJECT

The Emerald Hills project in Dubai is a defining milestone for our studio. This global endeavor is where architectural precision meets the raw and untamed beauty of nature. Our goal was to move away from the cold and sterile marble typical of the region to instead create a sanctuary that breathes with warmth, texture, and character.

The Palette: Desert Meets Oasis

The visual DNA of the interior is a direct reflection of the Emirati landscape reimagined through luxury design. We intentionally prioritized tactility and soul by layering sand-inspired hues and rich wood textures that envelop the space. This creates an immediate sense of home. Deep green accents are woven into the veins of rare marble and the upholstery of Minotti and Poliform pieces to bring the refreshing energy of a hidden garden indoors.

The Element of Water: Motion and Light

To create a true wow factor, we designed a custom waterfall system at the entrance. It serves as a ritual of transition where flowing water symbolically washes away external noise and leaves only tranquility behind as guests enter. This theme is carried throughout the lighting design. Custom floor lighting projects water reflections onto the surfaces to create the illusion of moving waves beneath your feet. Above the staircase, the Splash chandelier from Laskas captures the exact moment a droplet hits the water and serves as a frozen architectural anchor.

Bespoke Artistry and Architectural Scale

Every corner of this residence features details designed exclusively for this project. We implemented an oversized 50cm marble skirting as an unconventional architectural choice. This emphasizes the immense volume of the rooms and adds a grounded, monumental feel to the space. For the TV zone, we moved away from standard cabinetry to create a custom metal-paneled wall. A vertical sliver of backlit onyx runs through the center to turn a functional area into a one of a kind light installation. From handcrafted consoles by independent artists to the integration of Travertine and metal, every piece was selected to ensure the home feels like a private gallery.
