Tomorrow Morning

Created on the basis of a design by Roberto Lazzeroni, Tomorrow Morning is a bed made from solid American walnut and characterised by a high headboard that is wider than the bed itself. The headboard is designed for reading, and the upper part slopes backwards to make room for pillows. A carved wooden crossbeam marks the boundary between the upper part and the lower part, which is divided into three padded sections. The frame of the bed is supported by four slim legs which lend the piece as a whole a sense of lightness, despite its significant size. Tomorrow Morning was designed with versatility in mind: the bed has a solid wooden base that is raised from the ground and surrounded by a padded frame, making beech slats possible as an alternative to the classic veneered plywood base. The padded parts of the bed can be covered with fabric or leather.
