Born from the idea of a compact, versatile seat, the Smile pouf collection by Marconato & Zappa was envisioned as a practical addition to any space — easy to grasp with one hand and elegantly unobtrusive when grouped. The structure, crafted entirely from solid ash wood in all Porada collection finishes, gently rises into a curved handle — reminiscent of a smile, which gives the piece its name. This sculptural arc serves both as a functional grip and a low backrest, allowing for easy repositioning and comfort in equal measure. The seat combines poplar plywood and elastic webbing for superior softness, and can be upholstered in any of the Porada fabrics, offering countless options for personalization.
