Eden-Rock

Sacha Lakic, a designer with a passion for speed, has created a number of futuristic pieces for Roche Bobois. Here, he worked on Eden Rock for the Les Nouveaux Classiques collection. He utilized a mixture of influences, from discreet references to Louis XVI style (with the thin cherry wood slats creating rhythm) to post-war American industrial design (with the massive brass, which highlights each piece with a subtle shine).
Sacha Lakic designed the Eden Rock chair featuring an enveloping shell and backrest padding which reflect the rhythm of the collection.
