The YUMI rug's structure of superimposed circles suggests a body of water sculpted by the waves of sparse rain. The interior is punctuated by a tangle of abstract shapes, reflections of the surrounding nature, and Seigaiha motifs, which in the Japanese imagination illustrate the waves and the infinity of the ocean. Seduced by this aquatic Eden, a couple of Koi carps have taken up residence here, giving a final touch of life and color to this exotic rug.
