Malerba
company history
Founded in the heart of northern Italy's Pesaro furniture region, Malerba has spent over half a century embodying elegant contemporary minimalism with a focus on ultra-premium materials. Originating as a family-run enterprise, the brand turned its passion for woodworking and architectural form into an international symbol of quiet luxury. Departing from traditional ornate styles, Malerba chose the path of clean lines, balanced proportions, and flawless geometry.
The secret behind Malerba's signature aesthetic lies in its masterful pairing of rare wood species with complex lacquering techniques. Every collection is envisioned as a cohesive design ecosystem for the home, ensuring harmonious flow between casegoods and upholstered pieces.
Malerba builds its philosophy around tactile contrasts, precision engineering, and complete interior concepts:
Exotic Woods and Gloss Finishes: The atelier is renowned for using rare veneers (such as Macassar ebony, Canaletto walnut, and eucalyptus) finished with multi-layered high-gloss lacquers that achieve a mirror-like depth.
Material Fusion: Rich wood grains are accented with brushed or chrome metals, ultra-soft natural leathers, fine marble, and tempered glass.
Comprehensive Interiors: Malerba creates complete living environments—spanning dining rooms, bedrooms, lounges, and home offices—allowing for seamless, sophisticated styling throughout a residence.
Today, Malerba furnishings refine luxury penthouses in New York, villas along the Côte d'Azur, and modern estates worldwide, remaining a benchmark for Italian refinement.
