Flexform Haiku
In Japanese, the word Haiku refers to a special form of short poetry that captivates with its immediacy and apparent simplicity, free from rhetoric and affectation.
This concept is reflected in the design philosophy behind the Haiku chair collection: a meticulous process of subtraction aimed at reaching the very essence of design, one that demands masterful craftsmanship and obsessive attention to every construction detail.
Leather was the natural choice for this piece—a material full of charm, supple yet strong—used to create the seamless upholstery that unites the seat, backrest, and armrests. Perfectly tailored, the leather envelops the metal frame, available in a wide range of elegant finishes.
